What the engine checks.

Every analysis runs 200+ rules across six structural dimensions. No opinions — only what the garments actually show.

Fit & Silhouette

Flags whether garment volume suits your frame — baggy sleeves, dropped shoulder seams, and open chest are each checked independently.

Colour Harmony

Identifies the warm-cool temperature of every piece and checks 40+ tonal rules — contrast ratios, saturation, and competing focal points across all detected garments.

Proportion & Leg Line

Evaluates hem-to-shoe transitions, vertical line interruptions, and waist definition relative to your silhouette — catching breaks that shorten the leg or disrupt the vertical.

Occasion Fit

Cross-references the formality weight of each garment against your occasion — work, smart casual, formal, or weekend — and flags mismatches in either direction.

Cohesion

Checks whether every piece speaks the same stylistic language. Mixing a sharp workwear cut with a casual-fabric base is caught and explained.

Layering Logic

Validates that layered pieces are compatible in weight, season, and silhouette geometry — so your layers read as intentional rather than accidental.

Common questions

How does AxiomLook analyse my outfit?

You upload a photo — a mirror selfie works best. Vision AI identifies each garment, then a rule engine checks the combination against 200+ structural style rules. You get a score out of 100 with a breakdown across fit, proportion, colour, occasion, and cohesion, plus ranked actionable fixes with reasons behind each one.

What is the style score out of?

Outfits are scored out of 100 across five weighted dimensions: Fit (25 pts), Proportion (20 pts), Colour (20 pts), Occasion (20 pts), and Cohesion (15 pts). The sample analysis shows a complete real example with all five dimension bars.

How many outfit analyses do I get for free?

The Free plan includes 10 analyses per month and keeps your last 5 uploads — no credit card required. Paid plans start at €8/month for 30 analyses with a personal style profile and history.

Is my outfit photo private?

Yes. Photos are stored securely and visible only to you by default. Publishing a look to the community is strictly opt-in and requires explicit consent every time you upload.

Does it work for all genders and body types?

Yes. The rule engine works from geometric and colour principles — it evaluates proportion, harmony, and fit without assumptions about gender, body type, or style identity. There are no demographic models baked in.

What makes this different from asking ChatGPT about my outfit?

AI chatbots generate opinions from training data and cannot reliably see or assess your specific garments. AxiomLook runs a deterministic rule engine over garment properties that were actually detected in your photo — so feedback is evidence-grounded, reproducible, and never invents wardrobe details that weren't there.
